Mendon planning commission notes Joint County Master Plan completed and approved by township board

At its Jan. 13 meeting, the Mendon Township Planning Commission recorded that the Joint County Master Plan has been completed and moved to the Township Board, which approved it; the commission also approved meeting minutes and the agenda.
Chairperson Kline told the Mendon Township Planning Commission on Jan. 13 that the Joint County Master Plan has been completed and "has moved to the Township Board and was approved." The commission met at the Mendon Township Library and handled routine procedural business before adjourning at 7:09 p.m.
The meeting began with a roll call listing Commissioners Ahrens, Hart, Kline and McClish. Commissioner Hart moved to approve the minutes from the Nov. 17, 2025 meeting; Commissioner Ahrens seconded and the motion carried. Hart then moved to accept the agenda, supported by Ahrens, and that motion also carried.
The commission did not hold a public hearing and heard no public comments at the Jan. 13 session. Aside from the update that the countywide master plan process has concluded and been accepted by the Township Board, there were no votes recorded on local ordinances or land-use decisions at this meeting.
The meeting ended after a brief miscellaneous-comments period and a motion to adjourn by Commissioner Ahrens, seconded by Commissioner Hart. Minutes were filed with the clerk, Donna Cupp.
