The Buford City Commission denied a rezoning request 3-0 for the property at 2924 Gravel Springs Road (Z-25-02), which the applicant proposed to reclassify from C-2 to M-1 to allow a portable-restroom operation.
Grant Middleton, the project engineer representing NWC #5 Partnership, told the commission the existing house would be used as an office and that portable restrooms would be cleaned and stored behind the building, screened by a six-foot solid fence. No members of the public spoke in opposition during the hearing.
The motion to deny was made by Mr. Burge and seconded by Mr. Weeks.
