Chelsea council authorizes third amendment to renewable power purchase commitment

By motion, Council Member Eric Keaton moved approval of the capacity transaction; Council Member Bill Ruddock seconded. The Council then voted (MOVED Charles Wiseley, SECONDED Ruddock) to authorize City Manager Roy Atkinson to sign the third amendment. Both motions were recorded as passing 'All Ayes.'
The motions update the city’s share of capacity from the renewable power supply under the Invenergy Calhoun Solar PPA as previously arranged through MPPA.
