Monroe council unanimously confirms Calvin Jerod Jones as Community Affairs Director

Council members spoke in support: Chairman Rodney McFarland said he reviewed Jones’ information and would vote in favor; Mrs. Ezernack said she had met Jones and was impressed by his passion for community and youth programs; Ms. Woods recounted his participation in a recent city fire prevention week event and thanked him for being involved; Mr. Muhammad noted having met Jones and praised the city’s community centers and Jones’ resume.
The confirmation was approved by unanimous vote under Resolution No. 9021.
