Commissioners approved the resolution by voice vote after a brief discussion of recent precipitation and regional fire activity. Staff confirmed the notice would be posted on the county website and said county staff and fire partners will provide additional guidance on enforcement and permitted activities.
The resolution follows similar actions by neighboring jurisdictions and is intended to limit human-caused wildfire starts while grant and assistance programs for affected residents and businesses are coordinated.
