The Carencro City Council on April 21 approved a final plat dividing property owned by Elwood Credeur on the 100 block of Clavelle Road and granted final acceptance for Willowbrook Subdivision Phase I.
Planning Administrator Tina Estilette presented both items, noting her review verifies general conformance with City of Carencro ordinances and that developers remain responsible for correcting any deficiencies identified later by the engineer. The council approved the Elwood Credeur final plat contingent on the developer satisfying conditions listed in the engineer’s review.
For Willowbrook Subdivision Phase I, the council approved Final Acceptance Review No. 1 and voted to waive two drainage video inspection items (Section C items 1A and 1B). Councilmember Jordan Arceneaux made the motions and Councilmember Alfred Sinegal seconded the Elwood Credeur motion; additional seconds were recorded for Willowbrook approvals.
The approvals move the plats forward toward permitting and development activity; developers must correct any future engineer-identified deficiencies at no cost to the city.
