Erin L. Hudson, communications and outreach director and strategic performance manager, presented the final revisions: goal titles were revised and reordered to reflect community priorities (with quality of life and public safety prioritized), outcome measures aligned to department strategic plans were included for awareness, and a new seventh goal — organizational resiliency — was added along with an addendum that will identify resiliency efforts within each goal area.
Hudson described the outcome measures as illustrative rather than prescriptive; staff will finalize measures and update comprehensive documentation for republication on the town website. The resolution establishes a three‑fiscal‑year term and a next review cycle; staff recommended adoption and council approved the amendment without opposition.
What’s next: staff will update comprehensive plan documents, publish them online and continue departmental alignment with the newly amended strategic plan.
