Morrisville staff updates board on Town Center progress, rental‑assistance RFQ and transportation studies

In transportation work, staff summarized three studies: the Safe Streets for All study led by Central Pines (for which Morrisville contributed $13,000), an alternate transit study that is in its last round of public engagement, and a comprehensive transportation plan that launched in July and is estimated to take about 15 months; staff said public outreach will include the farmers market and Boo Bash events and that the board should expect a presentation and opportunity to comment at a November meeting.
The staff member also noted a proclamation recognizing October as Community Planning Month will be on the town council's agenda and expressed appreciation for the board's volunteer service.
