Tri County Industries to present CNG fueling station and waste transfer plans at July 30 West Mead meeting

Tri County Industries will present final land‑development plans for a CNG fueling station and a combined waste transfer station and convenience center at 19824 Cochranton Road at the West Mead Township Planning Commission meeting on July 30, 2026, the township’s June 25 minutes state.

Recording Secretary Jill Dunlap told the commission that Tri County representatives David Smith and Roger Gildea were not present but "are still working on the final plans and plan on attending the July 30, 2026 meeting." Steve Halmi provided a brief overview of the proposal during the June 25 discussion.

According to the minutes, Tri County is seeking Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) Transfer Station and Convenience Center permit approval concurrently with West Mead Township land‑development review. Dunlap said she has been answering inquiries from adjoining property owners and will notify residents of public meetings; several residents indicated they may attend the July 30 meeting.
