Administrator Ryan VanDeWalle and Tourism Marketing Director Dave Brula reported to the board on a customer service survey for public works projects that was distributed in the spring newsletter, posted on the village website and promoted on Facebook. The survey period ran May 7 through June 4, 2024.
The village cited 70 total participants; using an adult population figure of 4,022 from the U.S. Census Bureau, the administrators calculated a participation rate of approximately 1.74%. Officials compared that turnout to a recent Cedar Creek Recreation Area survey that drew over 500 responses. The board did not take action on the survey results at the meeting.
Officials did not present a breakdown of survey questions or results to the board during the meeting; no further outreach or follow-up steps were directed in the minutes.
