The Spring City Tourism and Events Commission unanimously approved minutes from July and August and approved a corrected version of the September minutes at its Sept. 23 meeting.
Commission member Jody Bauer moved to approve the July and August minutes; Ricki Dash seconded and both motions passed unanimously. Bauer also moved to approve the September minutes with corrections to a typographical error and to a name listed as “Rhea”; Candi Harris seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The commission addressed two vacant seats. Jody Bauer moved to appoint Brenda Dodson to the commission; Ricki Dash seconded and the motion passed with all in favor. Bauer then moved to appoint Michelle Caldwell‑Ray; Dash seconded and the motion likewise passed unanimously. The commission also voted to accept the verbal resignation of Kristin Urani.
The commission set its next meeting for Oct. 28, 2025. The meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
