Property committee forwards Operation Green Light proclamation for veterans, hears facility project updates

B&G Superintendent Paul Van Treeck presented the proclamation and noted several facilities projects: a repaired driveway entrance at HHS, installation of a new cooler and freezer at the Food Bank, installation of large fans at the Fairgrounds supplied by the Animal Meat and Auction Committee, and a rooftop heating and venting unit on the HHS building scheduled for Nov. 5 with billing for that installation deferred until 2026. Van Treeck also reported that the 911 Dispatch Center is under construction and expected to be completed by the second week of December, and that sheriff workstations are scheduled for installation in the third week of January followed by Baycom setup; he suggested a February tour after installations are complete.
Mary Walters moved and Dave Benson seconded approval of the Operation Green Light proclamation resolution; the motion carried. The minutes do not record further action on the projects aside from the noted timelines and the deferred billing plan.
