On Nov. 6, 2025, the Marquette County ADRC Advisory Committee reviewed a draft 2026 85.21 application and discussed related funding and service planning.
The committee shared and examined the draft application and spent much of the discussion on how to fund transportation services. Members raised questions about establishing or using a trust account, the timing and cost of acquiring a van, mileage reimbursement rates and how service frequency would be scheduled under the 85.21 application. Committee members also compared the frequency of applying under 85.21 and 53.10 funding streams.
No members of the public offered comments during the meeting. The review did not record a formal vote on the 85.21 draft; committee business instead moved on to the Aging Plan review and other agenda items.
Procedural notes: the committee approved the meeting agenda and prior minutes earlier in the session, and scheduled the next ADRC Advisory Committee meeting for Feb. 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. in Room 205 of the Human Services Building.
