The commission then considered qualification determinations for several recruitments. For the Health Program Assistant position, Commissioner Phelan moved and Chair Ward seconded a motion to reject a specified set of applicants who did not meet the minimum requirements and to accept all other applicants; the motion carried unanimously. The rejected applicant IDs recorded in the meeting were: 53970422, 52118847, 67196506, 66747879, 60611828, 65236068, 31885877, 17094253, 46977111, 67312277, 67286870, 67511155, and 67307250.
On the Intelligence Coordinator recruitment, the commission rejected applicants 64538862, 56603298, 67560224, 63167394, and 46977111; it accepted applicant #48047998 as meeting the requirements and approved that the Department Head interview be used in lieu of an oral exam for that applicant. The motion was made by Commissioner Phelan, seconded by Chair Ward, and carried unanimously.
For Pipe Installer I, the commission rejected applicants 55942326 and 67413241 for not meeting minimum requirements and accepted the remainder of applicants; the motion carried unanimously. For Clerk Typist II, the commission rejected applicants 53970422, 59312723, 24366427, 6728023067283914, and 63432071 and accepted all other applicants; that motion also carried unanimously.
The meeting recorded multiple removals from police eligibility lists. The commission voted unanimously to remove candidate #993421 (Philip Clark) from the Certified Police Officer list as he was deemed unsuccessful, and to remove candidate #989518 (Jonathon Marple) from the Entry Level Police Officer list as unsuccessful. The commission also removed candidates #989435 (Aleury Gomez Ramirez) and #993092 (Aaron Smith) from the Entry Level Police Officer list for lack of response, and removed candidates #991430 (Isaiah Araujo), #1002143 (Jason Gague), and #1007364 (Alan Nevells Jr.) at the candidates’ own requests. Each removal motion was made by Commissioner Phelan, seconded by Chair Ward, and carried unanimously.
With no further business reported under personnel status, Commissioner Phelan moved and Chair Ward seconded to adjourn; the meeting was adjourned by unanimous vote.
