Facilities staff identified specific approximate costs — for example, a chiller replacement and related mechanical work — and noted the district would weigh trade‑offs if modest capital funds (e.g., $150,000) were available.
District technology staff said they plan to pursue E‑Rate funding to offset connectivity upgrades; approximately 50% reimbursement was noted as achievable for certain equipment, which would substantially reduce net district costs if awarded. Trustees emphasized sequencing: safety and building‑systems items first, longer‑term venue upgrades later.
