The council announced the 2026 survey is live and encouraged members to promote completion among friends and neighbors.
On festival logistics, the council said the weekend bill for the Carlisle Music Festival is complete and the website is live. Amanda Kerns circulated promotional materials and a Google sign-up form for a Friday evening event; Chris Brenne will organize sound systems; Debbie Bentley reported contacting the Farmers Market for potential food vendors. Laurelyn Roberts suggested the Herb Garden at Clark Farm as a possible venue for a September grantee reception; Debbie Bentley will follow up.
The minutes of April 6 were approved with a clarification that Greg Torrales from Mass Culture had been a guest. The finance report noted winter grants have not been fully processed because the final agreement form from the Mosquito remains outstanding; Debbie Bentley and Kristi Wynn will process all payments except that one when the agreement arrives.
On communications, Instagram reach, views and followers were up while interaction was down; Facebook performance was weaker. Laurelyn Roberts asked members to tag and request collaborations to increase traffic. The council set its next meeting for June 1, 2026 and adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
