The Chicopee Retirement Board voted unanimously April 29, 2026, to adopt "Portfolio A," following a presentation from SEI Investments representatives Patrick Blizzard and John Waite. The presentation, distributed to the board as a booklet dated April 29, 2026, summarized recent market performance and compared domestic and international returns to class benchmarks.
SEI told the board that the quarter was largely flat across equities and fixed income, while commodities and inflation-protected bonds posted stronger results over the period; SEI also reviewed trailing 12-month returns and asset-class-specific benchmarks. After the presentation the board discussed the portfolio study SEI provided and moved to accept Portfolio A. The motion was made by Debra Boronski and seconded by David Ference; the minutes record "ALL IN FAVOR." The board thanked SEI representatives for their presentation.
The action formalizes the board's current investment direction; the minutes note that investment companies will attend several upcoming meetings during the year. No vote tallies by named individual were recorded beyond the recorded unanimous approval.
