Corning Comm School District board unanimously approves resignations, staff contracts and $18,923 freezer in six‑minute special meeting

Vice President Adam Boswell called the Board of Education of the Corning Comm School District to order at 7:32 a.m. on March 12, 2026. Directors Adam Boswell, Stephanie Hodapp and Trent Roberts were present; Hodapp and Roberts attended electronically. Superintendent Erickson and Secretary Lyddon were also in attendance.
Director Stephanie Hodapp moved to approve the agenda; Director Trent Roberts seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. The board then voted, again unanimously, to accept resignations as presented.
The personnel actions approved by the board included the departures listed as: G Travis, High School Family Consumer Science Teacher; M Boswell, High School Math Teacher; D Maeder, Head High School Girls Wrestling Coach; M Cormack, Head High School Girls Basketball Coach; and M Hogan, Assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach.
The board next approved a Memorandum of Understanding with the Corning Education Association as presented. The motion to ratify the MOU was moved by Director Stephanie Hodapp, seconded by Director Trent Roberts, and carried unanimously.
Directors then approved certified staff contracts for the 2026–2027 school year. That motion was moved by Director Trent Roberts, seconded by Director Stephanie Hodapp, and carried unanimously.
The board also approved a procurement action: it accepted a quote from Glen's Refrigeration for $18,923.76 to purchase a walk‑in freezer. The approval was moved by Director Stephanie Hodapp, seconded by Director Trent Roberts, and carried unanimously.
Director Stephanie Hodapp moved to adjourn; Director Trent Roberts seconded. The meeting adjourned at 7:38 a.m.
