At the July 6 meeting, Bern Township supervisors approved a set of administrative items covering stormwater, personnel and ceremonial endorsement.
Township Manager Brian Potts reported that a property owner at 1015 Snyder Drive requested $2,000 to permit a township stormwater facility on their land. Supervisor Jeff Thompson moved to approve payment of $2,000 for the easement; the motion carried unanimously.
The board approved hiring Steve Edwards as a part‑time road crew employee. The minutes record the motion to hire and unanimous approval.
Codes Enforcement Officer Bradley Pflum presented a permit‑refund matter: the original building permit fee for 625 West Pine Street was $254.50, with LTL's review fee of $62.75 deducted, leaving a refund amount of $191.75; the board approved the refund.
