Lynchburg-Clay board approves minutes, finances, personnel hires and FFA trip

Ms. Griffith moved and Ms. Rhonemus seconded motion 14329‑24 to approve the minutes of the July 23, 2024 regular meeting; a voice vote was unanimous and President Warner declared the motion carried. Ms. Rhonemus moved and Mrs. Sanderson seconded motion 14330‑24 to approve the financial and investment reports; the motion passed on a roll call vote with all members voting yea. The board then approved the list of bills (motion 14331‑24, moved by Ms. Rhonemus, seconded by Mrs. Sanderson) by roll call, and accepted donations (motion 14332‑24, moved by Ms. Rhonemus, seconded by Mrs. Sanderson) by voice vote.
The Superintendent presented a consent agenda (motion 14333‑24) that included numerous personnel actions: updates to substitute lists, acceptances of resignations, approvals of hires for aides, cooks and other positions at specified steps, supplemental CCP contracts for the 2024‑25 year, and approval for the Lynchburg‑Clay FFA to attend the National Convention in Indianapolis, IN, Oct. 23–26. Ms. Griffith moved and Mrs. Sanderson seconded approval of the consent agenda; roll call was unanimous in favor and President Warner declared the motion carried.
Finally, Mrs. Sanderson moved and Ms. Rhonemus seconded motion 14334‑24 to adjourn; a unanimous voice vote closed the meeting.
