The Village of Lynchburg council approved hiring Logan Warner as a seasonal part-time laborer at $16 per hour during a special meeting on Nov. 7, 2024.
The motion to authorize the hire was made by Committee member David Minton and seconded by Committee member Christine Hamlin; the council voted 6–0 in favor. Village Administrator Ashley Campbell conducted roll call; Mayor James Burton called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Attendees recorded by the administrator were Committee members Christine Hamlin, Tagg Pendleton, Marty Bailey, David Minton, Judy Davis and Chris Toller. The motion’s text authorized the Village Administrator to hire Logan Warner for a seasonal part-time laborer position at a wage of $16 per hour.
After the hiring motion passed, Committee member Christine Hamlin moved to adjourn. Committee member David Minton seconded the motion, which passed 6–0. Mayor James Burton adjourned the meeting at 6:04 p.m.
