The Planning & Zoning Commission opened with routine procedural business: proof of publication and the minutes from the June 3, 2026 meeting were approved. The commission granted the applicant’s request to continue the Tatratown homes rezoning (case 2026481) to the next regularly scheduled meeting on August 5, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
Staff presented the Isola retail PD major amendment and reszone request to permit limited outdoor storage for one building on about 3.25 acres. Annie Silhouay said the proposal meets PD review criteria and that proposed landscaping and fencing would provide screening; the commission voted to recommend adoption of the ordinance and associated development order to the Board of County Commissioners.
At the meeting’s close, Deputy Director Dagmarie Sigura reported the land development code update is advancing and that a second reading will be scheduled before the Board of County Commissioners on July 14.
