The Fulton County Board of Commissioners met June 18, 2026, in Wauseon and approved the minutes of its June 16 regular session, the day’s agenda, two appropriations increases totaling $100,122, Payment Request #1 under Contract 2026-47 to Gerken Paving, Inc. for $800, and a purchase-order edit-list procedure in recorded 2-0 votes. Commissioner Joe Short was absent.
The board approved Resolution 2026-406 to adopt the June 16 minutes after a motion by Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer and a second by Commissioner Jeff Rupp. The resolution notes that the board’s actions complied with Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code governing open meetings.
Under Resolution 2026-407, the board approved the day’s agenda as prepared by commission staff. Commissioner Jeff Rupp moved the approval and Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer seconded; the motion passed 2-0.
Resolution 2026-408 established two appropriation lines for court-technology spending and increased appropriations by $25,122 for the Court Technology Grant–Clerk of Courts Computerization (account 2221-12120-5-41100) and $75,000 for Contract Services—Board of Developmental Disabilities (account 2520-15907-5-41000). Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer moved the measures and Commissioner Jeff Rupp seconded; the motions passed 2-0.
The board approved Payment Request #1 to Gerken Paving, Inc. for $800 under Contract 2026-47 for the 2026 Asphalt Resurfacing Program (Resolution 2026-409). The resolution records that County Engineer Frank Onweller approved the pay request on June 16 and that prevailing wage rates were approved by Stephanie Mossing, prevailing wage coordinator. Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer moved the payment approval; Commissioner Jeff Rupp seconded and the motion passed 2-0.
Under Resolution 2026-410, the board authorized the commissioners to sign a Purchase Order computer edit list prepared by the Fulton County Auditor in lieu of journalizing each individual purchase order, and approved travel requests as submitted. Commissioner Jeff Rupp moved the measure and Commissioner R.J. Lumbrezer seconded; the motion passed 2-0.
The meeting was adjourned after the recorded votes and signatures were prepared. The meeting record lists Amanda Mahlman, ASC, as the attesting official and Jessica Schuette, Clerk, as attestor.
