Council approves routine minutes, fiscal report and bills; schedules community events

At its Feb. 19 meeting, Magnolia Village Council approved routine meeting business and heard community notices.
Scott Noble moved and Eric White seconded acceptance of the Jan. 15, 2025 reorganization minutes; that motion passed unanimously. Kurt Stanley moved and Eric White seconded acceptance of the Jan. 15 regular minutes; that also passed unanimously. Kurt Stanley moved to accept the Fiscal Officer's report; Eric White seconded and the motion carried. Grant Downes moved to pay the bills as presented; Eric White seconded and the motion passed.
Council heard community notices: Eric White asked about council availability for a Village Clean Up Day (he will check April 12, 2025 with the disposal company). Fire Chief Eric White announced a benefit on March 15, 2025 at the Eagles from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. to raise funds for rescue-truck upgrades. Claudia Rogers reported $1,750 in cemetery income for January 2025. Eric White moved to adjourn at 8:35 p.m.; Kurt Stanley seconded and the meeting adjourned by unanimous vote.
