Walter Dodson and Billie Bird were sworn in by Village Solicitor Yazan Ashrawi and requested a variance to install two segments of fence for privacy at 1251 Cambridge Boulevard. Dodson and Bird told council they had previously tried planting trees and other "green" fences to achieve privacy without success.
Council members asked questions about the request. Council Member Kendy A. Troiano moved to approve the fence variance and Council Member Joanne C. Taylor seconded. The motion passed unanimously by the four members present.
No conditions or alternative mitigation were recorded in the minutes; the variance as described in the request was approved.
