Residents ask council to address lingering Broad Avenue flooding; manager says work scheduled

Deborah Finnis said her Broad Avenue property has not received a phone call with updates about persistent flooding; Dan Conklin said he was speaking on behalf of his 93-year-old mother who is experiencing the same problem. Township Manager Joseph Sabatini responded that crews are currently working on Ash Street and Robert Street and that Broad Avenue will be scheduled for work next.
The exchange occurred during the public participation portion of the meeting and the council did not take immediate formal action on the complaints during the session; residents were told staff will continue scheduled roadwork and repairs.
