Princeton Hydro briefs Byram council on lakes and watersheds plan; final draft expected in August

Council member Robert Roseff pressed for clearer citations and for the study to document local lake-community maintenance activities (for example, chemical treatments and site-specific maintenance). Mikolajczyk said Appendix III values are based on a 30-year (1990–2020) data set and EPA land-use data and that the consultant would review the phosphorus contribution numbers called out by Roseff and add clarifying context. The consultant will also consider adding maps and historical background for Forest Lakes, which Roseff said is missing.
Next steps and schedule: The presenter said the expected final draft will be posted to the township website by the end of August, with a notification for public review; Princeton Hydro will attend the council’s final discussion and the council anticipates a resolution of adoption at its September 17 meeting.
