- Resolution 2026-42: construction awarded to Trymore Corp for the Washington Boulevard project with GPD Group contracted for construction administration at $596,010; construction scheduled to begin July 1, 2026 (completion on or before Oct. 29, 2027).
- Resolution 2026-43: GPD Group to prepare a five-year capital infrastructure improvement plan at $131,344.
- Resolution 2026-39: agreement with GPD Group for maintenance/improvements on Gates Mills Boulevard and Lander Road; the county contributed approximately $48,000 in material funding toward an estimated project cost of $96,000.
- Resolution 2026-40: award of the city salt bid to Morton Salt, Inc.; prices reported were $89.34 per ton (piled) and $74.34 per ton (dumped) with a 200‑ton minimum order.
- Resolution 2026-41: purchase of a temporary salt storage shelter from Element Shelter Solution for $54,742.62.
- Resolution 2026-44: council authorized OHM Advisors to prepare the city’s master plan (not to exceed $147,700). Council requested contract language to guarantee interim work products upon termination.
- Resolution 2026-45: a memorandum of understanding with Mayfield City Schools to continue the school resource officer program in 2026–27 was approved after an amendment clarifying the president of council would execute the MOU.
Also approved: designation of Key Bank as a city depository (2026-46), confirmation of zoning-appeal decisions granting signage and setback variances (2026-47 and 2026-48), and final site-plan approval for the Sprouts grocery at 5906 Mayfield Road. The council tabled Resolution 2026-34 (donation of a hook-and-ladder vehicle) for further due diligence.
The BZA-related case involving David Light (Resolution 2026-49) — an appeal about a weed/grass citation — was placed on first reading to allow more time for council review; the statutory 60-day period following the BZA decision was discussed, and council members said they may need a special meeting to act before the August deadline.
