The West Milwaukee Village Board unanimously approved a set of routine fiscal and administrative measures at its Aug. 5 meeting.
On a roll-call vote the board approved commercial vouchers dated July 18 through Aug. 5, 2024 (checks numbered 333479–33551) totaling $210,947.16 and biweekly payroll dated July 26, 2024, for $161,824.38. Administrator Egan told trustees the payroll increase reflected payouts of banked vacation and sick time for two retirees. Trustees also voted to accept the June 2024 Treasurer’s Report.
The board adopted Resolution 11-R-24 amending the Community Centre rental fee and approved Beverage Operator license applications for Jessica Mullins, Elvira Rockwell and Akshaykumar Patel. Trustee Ragonese moved the fee-resolution; Chairperson Schaefer moved the licenses; both measures passed with all trustees recorded as voting aye.
Trustees also approved an ordinance amending Chapter 2 (Administration), Article V (Public Records), Sections 2-351–358 regarding records retention (04-O-24). The ordinance was adopted by roll call with unanimous support.
The meeting minutes record no dissenting votes on these items. The board’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Aug. 19, when Baker Tilly will present the 2023 audit for review.
