On auditing, the board reviewed and approved an engagement letter from Shi Peterillo and Keen LLP as the contracted county auditors but discussed adding or retaining language requiring timely delivery of audits because of previous late filings. Portage Township’s Act 13 request of $10,000 toward a side-arm mower was acknowledged but tabled to the board’s routine review cycle (the board amended the motion to be an acknowledgement of receipt and to postpone detailed consideration).
