The commission heard an update on the proposed 26‑lot Saddle Ridge subdivision (application #25‑733) and continued the matter to allow peer review and additional plan revisions.
Attorney Wilson Carroll, representing EG HOME LLC, told the commission the current submission differs from earlier 2009 and 2014 proposals and described the plan as less intense. Carroll said the development would leave about 65 acres as open space. Darin Overton, the principal draftsman, confirmed the subdivision map shows individual lot sizes and the proposed open space.
Commissioners asked the applicant to provide color‑coded maps delineating wetlands and the 100‑foot regulated area on each lot, and to show corresponding lot sizes. Chair Dori Wollen asked that the roadway, detention basins and proposed house sites be staked before a joint site walk and requested applicants notify staff when staking is complete.
The public hearing has been continued multiple times; the minutes document continuances through June 1 and June 22, 2026 to allow reviewers more time to examine revisions.
Next steps: applicants to provide revised, color‑coded maps and to stake the site features; commission and peer reviewers to examine revisions prior to the resumed hearing.
