The Oregon School District Board on Nov. 10 approved its meeting agenda and a consent calendar that included the Oct. 27, 2025 meeting minutes; payments totaling $551,154.99; staff resignations and retirements (including the announced retirement of Jon Fishwild, 1.0 FTE science teacher at Oregon High School, effective June 15, 2026, after 35 years of service); a German American Partnership Program field trip to Germany (June 15–July 4, 2026); and multiple donations including $11,025 from the Oregon PTO.
Ms. Heather Garrison moved to approve the agenda; Dr. Mary Lokuta seconded. The minutes record a roll-call vote with the seven listed board members voting yes and the motion passed 7-0. Ms. Ahna Bizjak moved and Dr. Lokuta seconded approval of the Consent Calendar. The minutes list the members who voted yes but also state that Mr. Natha Hensal "abstained from the October 27, 2025 Board Meeting Minutes" while simultaneously listing him among those who voted yes; the minutes conclude the motion "passed 7-0." This inconsistency is recorded here as it appears in the meeting minutes.
The Board also approved a motion to cancel the Nov. 24 and Dec. 22, 2025 Board meetings; the minutes record a roll-call vote with all seven members voting yes and the motion passing 7-0. The meeting adjourned at 9:07 PM by unanimous voice vote.
Items approved on the consent calendar and referenced in the minutes include the listed payments, the field trip request and the donations noted in the public record. The district posts meeting materials and the Superintendent's Report on www.OregonSD.org/board.
