The School Board of the Oregon School District unanimously approved receiving the district’s audited financial statements and management letter for the year ending June 30, 2025 and approved payments totaling $2,047,551.85 during its Dec. 8 meeting.
Dr. Mary Lokuta moved and Ahna Bizjak seconded the motion to receive the audited statements and management letter from Johnson Block and to approve the Fund Balance Report provided by district finance staff and Mr. Jeff Osvog of Johnson Block. The motion carried in a roll-call vote 7-0.
Those actions were recorded on the Consent Calendar, which also noted personnel changes and accepted donations to district programs. The Consent Calendar lists a number of gifts, including a $4,999 Village of Oregon / Oregon Chamber of Commerce Tourism Grant for the Splash Pad; $9,888.25 from Oregon Athletic Boosters to support athletic programs; $1,338.04 from Culvers earmarked for the OHS FFA "Blue Barn"; and $1,126.84 from the Knights of Columbus to support Oregon Special Olympics.
