The O'Fallon civic board discussed shifting its regular meeting time to mornings to improve quorum and attendance.
Several members said afternoons are difficult for commissioners with children or work commitments; suggestions included moving the regular fourth‑Wednesday meeting to a 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. start while keeping the day of the week. Commissioners recommended polling members who were not present at the June 30 special meeting and returning a proposed new time for adoption at the July meeting.
No formal motion was made at the special meeting; members agreed in principle to solicit availability and return with a recommendation.
