Winter Harbor selectmen approve warrants, reports, deed and an appointment; cancel June 29 meeting

The board approved Special Town Meeting minutes of April 22 and the Selectmen Meeting minutes of April 22 (each recorded as approved 3-0). It approved Warrants #50 (April 28) and #51 (May 1) and accepted the Treasurer’s Report dated May 1, 2026 (approved 3-0). The minutes list account balances including a Trio-General Ledger balance of $1,131,686.20, a six-month certificate of deposit of $107,539.29 and investments in bonds reported at about $2.87 million.
Selectmen accepted the Tax Collector’s Report dated May 1, 2026 (accepted 3-0), which records taxes receivable for FY26 at $342,681.50 and for FY25 at $13,690.19. The board also approved and signed the Warrant for Town Meeting and voted to cancel the June 29, 2026 Selectmen meeting (motion approved 3-0).
The board voted to sign a right-of-way deed for the Historical Society (approved 3-0) and appointed Earl Blackney to the Utilities District Board of Trustees (appointed 3-0). The minutes do not record mover/second names for each motion; all recorded votes in the minutes used a 3-0 tally.
