Board member Rachel informed the Shamrock Lakes Town Board on Oct. 16 that she had submitted a letter of resignation from the board, citing increased involvement in her children’s school activities and limited time to serve.
Members thanked Rachel for her service and discussed transition tasks, including handing over online bill-pay administration, website and newsletter access, and other duties she managed (newsletters produced in Canva). The board agreed a replacement must be identified before she leaves and discussed outreach options including website notices, targeted mailings with billings, yard signs at exits and a special announcement or flyer to solicit candidates.
Rachel said she would assist with the transition and with announcements to the community. The board encouraged members to consider potential candidates and suggested a mix of online and physical outreach to draw interest.
