Shamrock Lakes board moves forward on website, online payment pilot and ordinance codification planning

At the June 19 meeting the board discussed several administrative initiatives: a new URL and expanded town website that will host lake-association information and meeting minutes; a limited pilot for online payments to test bookkeeping and audit compatibility; and a proposed animal/noise ordinance revision that draws on other municipalities and updated Indiana code.
Board members also recommended moving forward with an ordinance codification service (American Legal Company was proposed) to standardize and publish the town code electronically. The board discussed an estimated upfront cost (described in the meeting as under $2,000) and agreed to consider the purchase in light of budget priorities; staff and board members will prepare budget steps and timing for the next fiscal planning cycle.
Staff will finalize the online payment pilot roster, distribute account instructions to volunteers, and circulate the animal ordinance redline for member comments. The board did not take final votes on purchases at the meeting.
