The Louisville City Council on May 4 approved the final plat for Stonebridge Crossing Phase 1, moving a long-delayed development toward construction.
Chris, representing New Life Development, told the council the property had been reconfigured from prior condo and townhome plans to single-family ownership lots. He said phase one envisions about 16 lots, with a planned phase two adding roughly five more lots on the north side of Reno. Setbacks from the street were described as 40 feet and several minor variances were granted to fit the new lot layouts into the existing infrastructure.
Councilors asked about lot sizes and setbacks. Chris said lot frontages were mostly 55–60 feet and that total lot sizes varied, with the smallest lots around 7,900 square feet and the largest near 12,000 square feet. He said most houses would be slab-on-grade to reduce costs and noted plans for double-car garages and modern amenities.
The council voted to accept the final plat (ordinance 26-27). There was no public objection recorded during the hearing. The passage allows the developer to proceed with initial site work and building when permits and other administrative requirements are satisfied.
