Community development staff reported to the Rialto Planning Commission on July 1 that on June 23 the state housing community development department found the city's housing element to be in compliance with state housing law, completing the city's sixth-cycle housing element review.
Daniel told commissioners, "the state ... housing community development department found the city's housing element to be in compliance with state housing law." He said staff has provided the commission an entitlement status report and noted that since preparing that list staff has received four new development submittals.
Because staff indicated there were no items ready for the commission's July 15 meeting, the commission will cancel that date; Daniel said the next meeting is scheduled for Aug. 5. Staff encouraged commissioners to review the entitlement status materials and contact the department with questions.
This item was an informational update; no formal action was recorded on the housing element at the meeting.
