Sheriff and code enforcement report graffiti response and new deputies in Bloomington

County code enforcement and the sheriff’s office gave public-safety updates to the Bloomington MAC on Nov. 1.
Code Enforcement announced three ways to report concerns (a hotline at 909‑884‑4056, an email to the code enforcement division via LUS.sbcounty.gov, and the SP Code Reporter website) and said a graffiti contractor is working proactively in Bloomington.
Representatives of the Sheriff’s Department introduced two new deputies—Deputy Arroyo and Deputy Parrish—who the minutes say will assume much of the workload previously handled by Sergeant Ruiz and Deputy Nunez. The deputies told the council they are aware of graffiti problems at Kessler Park and that two arrests have already been made in connection with those issues.
No formal enforcement actions or follow-up orders were recorded in the minutes; updates were presented as information. Residents were encouraged to report areas of concern to code enforcement and to continue communicating with sheriff’s personnel.
