Montgomery — The Montgomery County Commission on Feb. 17 approved an agreement with CentralSquare Technologies, LLC to provide public‑safety software and related implementation services for the Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Derrick Cunningham submitted the procurement memo and supporting contract documents for the CentralSquare ONESolution suite and associated services. Commissioners recorded the motion and vote as unanimous. The contract package and exhibits attached to the meeting packet show a multi‑component implementation that includes software subscriptions, data conversion, implementation services and recurring first‑year subscriptions. The written quote and contract included in the packet list a quoted total of $706,530 and detailed line items for modules, implementation work and recurring first‑year subscription totals; the Sheriff’s office budget change request included in the packet lists an appropriation line for software at $730,000.
County Administrator Kindell Anderson said the Sheriff’s memo and attached contracts had been provided for commissioner review and moved through the consent vote. Commissioners were told the procurement would include a training and implementation schedule and that recurring subscription and maintenance fees would be budgeted in future years.
Why it matters: The agreement will replace or consolidate multiple public‑safety records, CAD and jail management functions; CentralSquare’s SOW included extensive implementation steps, data conversion tasks and a year‑long reliability period.
