The King City Council authorized a $29,221 contract change order for the pool fencing project at its June 11 special meeting and directed the city manager to approve the change order with the contractor.
City Manager Jose Arreola explained the change order was not included in the original recommendation in May and presented it for authorization. The change order amount is $29,221.00 and names Big Wakoo Fence Inc. Corporation as the contractor.
The minutes state that Councilmember Cullen moved to authorize the city manager to approve contract change order #1 and that Councilmember Oscar Avalos seconded the motion. The recorded vote lists AYES as Mayor LeBarre, Councilmember Carlos Victoria and Councilmember Avalos; it then lists Councilmember Cullen and Councilmember DeLeon as absent. The minutes record the motion as approved; the vote record in the minutes is internally inconsistent about Cullen’s presence during the vote.
