Parks Commission approves Yoga in the Park and Simple Summer Concert Series

The Village of Chagrin Falls Parks Commission on April 1 approved two summer event series in village parks. The commission voted to allow Chagrin Yoga to hold Saturday morning classes in Triangle Park on June 13 and 27, July 11 and 25, and Aug. 8 and 22 from 9 to 10 a.m., and to allow the Chagrin Valley Chamber of Commerce to stage its Simple Summer Concert Series in Riverside Park on Thursdays from June 11 through Aug. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The approvals were recorded as motions and passed unanimously. Anne Wombwell de Coningh made the motion to approve the March meeting minutes at the start of the session and later moved approval for the Yoga in the Park application; Nancy Rogoff seconded the minutes motion and seconded the Yoga application. Rick Bauman moved approval of the Simple Summer Concert Series; Anne de Coningh seconded. The record states both event motions were "all approved."
The approvals include the dates and times noted on the applications. The commission did not record additional conditions or fees in the meeting minutes. Organizers and staff will proceed with the events under normal permitting and park-use rules.
The commission’s next meeting is scheduled for May 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. in Village Hall Council Chambers.
