The Audrey Pack Memorial Library Board of Trustees approved a Five-Year Strategic Service Plan during its June 11, 2024 meeting, Board Chair Alma Marquardt said. The board, meeting at 5:30 p.m., recorded the distribution and approval of the plan and listed trustees present.
Why it matters: The plan sets service priorities for the library for the next five years and guides budgeting, programming, and facilities work. Trustees noted that parking-lot repair material has been purchased and delivered, but that installation had not yet taken place.
What happened: The board voted to approve the Five-Year Strategic Service Plan as presented in the meeting packet. The minutes do not record the motion text, the name of the member who moved or seconded, or a roll-call vote. Secretary Sean O'Neill prepared and emailed the approved minutes. The minutes record that parking-lot repair material is onsite but do not specify a timetable for installation.
Who said it: Chair Alma Marquardt called the meeting to order and presided over the approval. Library Director Cindy Wilkey provided updates and handouts referenced by the board. The minutes list trustees Alma Marquardt, Sean O'Neill, Cindy Wilkey, Jody Bauer, Brianne Yancy, Kim Johnson, Erin Sanchez and Amy McRorie as in attendance.
Next steps: The minutes do not specify implementation steps for the strategic plan or a schedule for the parking-lot repairs. The board adjourned at 6:37 p.m.
