City staff told the council that notice of the public hearing had been given, affidavits of compliance were on file, and there were no written communications. The council opened the public hearing, heard no comments and then approved the ordinances by motion (moved by Bowman, seconded by Perata).
Council members and staff did not request additional studies or changes at the meeting. The action updates the city's municipal code to the newly adopted statewide code editions and was recorded as a 5‑0 council vote.
