The Village of Rothschild board on April 14 handled several consent and routine matters, approving prior meeting minutes, a certified survey map (CSM) for 2112 Shorey Avenue, and an amendment to Village Ordinance Chapter 590 Section 590-12 to list established zoning districts.
Clerk Elizabeth Felkner and Zoning Coordinator Rebekka Borchardt presented items. The CSM combining Outlot 1 with Lot 1 (applicant Nathan Schuck) was approved 7-0 to bring the combined lot into compliance with R-4 single-family residential minimums.
The board also approved an Emergency Management Agreement with St. Therese Catholic Church to list the church pavilion as a potential emergency space for school-day incidents (vote 7-0). Proclamations recognizing Municipal Treasurer’s Week (week of April 20) for Finance Director Melanie Wiskow and Municipal Clerk’s Week (week of May 4) for Clerk Elizabeth Felkner were approved unanimously. Administrator Ryan VanDeWalle and staff announced a plaque for Trustees Dan Mortensen and Rex Zemke in appreciation of their years of service.
