Committee member Bill Schremp moved to adjourn into closed session and Committee member Sam Stroik seconded; the roll call vote was recorded as Aye from Dan Mortensen, Paul Kennedy, Rex Zemke, Deb Ehster, Bill Schremp, Sam Stroik and Village President Dan Helgeson, and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes state the board reconvened in open session at 7:34 p.m. (motion by Rex Zemke, second Sam Stroik).
After reconvening, the board moved to "allow the administrator to move forward with items discussed in closed session." The motion to authorize the administrator was made by Rex Zemke and seconded by Sam Stroik and recorded as carried 7:0.
A subsequent motion to adjourn the meeting was recorded as carried 6:0; the minutes do not explain the change in recorded vote count or identify a member as absent for that final vote. The meeting adjourned at 7:35 p.m.; minutes were signed by Clerk Elizabeth Felkner.
