County human services reports waiting lists, increased CPS reports and aging services outreach

Marquette County human services reported 18 people waiting for outpatient services, nine waiting for CCS, five adults in placement, two current out‑of‑home child placements and increased CPS reports; aging services reported outreach, the Goodwill volunteer tax assistance program and upcoming nutrition education.
Human services staff updated the Marquette County Department of Human Services board on Feb. 2 about program caseloads and outreach.
Director Mandy Stanley said 18 people are waiting for outpatient services and nine are waiting for Comprehensive Community Services (CCS); five adults are currently in placement, with one planned enrollment in family care. Stanley and staff discussed CCS survey results and noted the CST/CCS coordinating committee will next meet April 16, 2026.
Jessie Cody reported the Children and Family Services Unit currently has two out‑of‑home care placements and that the unit has seen an increase in Child Protective Services reports and screen‑ins. Jan Krueger provided an Aging and Disability Services update, outlining the Goodwill volunteer tax assistance program, outreach work and nutrition and meal site activity; Krueger said the county had 895 website hits in January and that additional nutrition education will be presented in March. Transportation and ADRC advisory meeting dates were announced.
No formal actions were taken on these program reports during the meeting.
