Councilor Chamberlain moved to accept the recommendation; Councilor Schneider seconded. After no discussion the motion carried on a 5-0 vote.
Councilors said the multi-tier approach (basic to full-field upgrade) gives organizers options on how much they pay and that staff and park volunteers could be scheduled to support tournaments rather than remain on-site for entire events.
