The Beaufort County School District and its nutrition group are offering 'Groceries to Go,' a free weekly grab-and-go breakfast and lunch meal-kit program running June 11 through July 31. Children 18 and younger are eligible; adults over 18 who are determined by the applicable state agency to be mentally or physically disabled and who participated during the school year in an appropriate public or nonprofit program are also eligible.
Families may pick up weekly meal kits on Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Fridays from noon to 2:00 p.m. at seven locations across Beaufort County. The district posted a full list of pickup locations and a reservation form on its website.
